Hellcrow discs are made of the hook side of a hair-friendly hook & loop material. They gently grab on to fine hair and can be used with our barrette clips or headbands to add extra hold. These are a great choice for performers or anyone who really needs their horns to stay in place.

We do not recommend using these on curly, kinky, or frizzy hair, as they are unnecessary and will cause tangles.

When you add hellcrow to your order, we will ship the hellcrow already attached to your horns. If you decide to remove it and need to reattach it later, just make sure to place the hellcrow disc onto the screw, with the hook side facing the screw head, before attaching your clips or headband. (More detailed instructions are below.)

Hellcrow Discs

Hellcrow discs are made of the hook side of a hair-friendly hook & loop material. They gently grab on to fine hair and can be used with our barrette clips or headbands to add extra hold. 

How to use:

To use with barrette clips:

  1. First, add the washer to the screw.
  2. Then, add the hellcrow disc with the hook side facing the head of the screw.
  3. Proceed as normal with the rest of the barrette clip attachment.

To use with a headband:

  1. Place the Hellcrow disc onto the screw with the hook side facing the head of the screw.
  2. Add the hard plastic mounting disc onto the screw. Make sure the plastic disc is flipped so that the screw head sits in the depression. The screw might not be perfectly flush with the disc due to the hellcrow, but that’s okay.
  3. Proceed as normal with the rest of the headband attachment.

Tips for wearing:

  • Different horn models have different sized Hellcrow discs, so make sure to purchase the correct discs for your horns.
  • We do NOT recommend using these on curly, kinky, or frizzy hair, as they are unnecessary and will cause tangles.

Each of our horns has a threaded insert in the base that lets you switch between attachments:

  1. Barrette Clips: Free option with each pair of horns. Coordinate with your hair or add a jolt of color.
  2. Catacombs: Free option with each pair of horns. These hair combs are great for thick and curly hair.
  3. Headband Kit: Zig-zag headbands give you firm hold and easy horn positioning.
  4. Temple Tape: Attach horns directly to your forehead with double-sided skin-safe tape.
  5. Hellcrow Add-on: Add hook & loop hellcrow discs for better hair hold - combine with barrette clips (or even a headband) for maximum grip.
