How to wear your horns with a headband
You will need:
- Our Headband Kit, which includes:
- 1 headband
- 2 screws
- 2 plastic mounting discs
- 2 silicone grip discs
- A flathead screwdriver
- A mirror (optional)
- Your horns!
How to attach your horns to your headband:
- Slide the hard plastic mounting disc on the first screw. Make sure the disc is oriented so that the screw head sits in the depression and is flush with the disc.
- Slide the silicone grip disc onto the screw.
- Repeat for the other screw and set both aside.
- Hold the horns up to your head to decide where you want them to go.
- Hold the horns against the headband and estimate roughly which grooves are closest to your desired placement (you can always adjust it later.)
- Hold the screw with the discs against the underside of the headband, with the silicone disc facing up, and the screw sticking out through the groove.
- Loosely screw on the horn by holding the headband and screw still and rotating the horn. (For larger horns, you may wish to use the screwdriver right away instead and hold the horn still while turning the screw.)
- Once the screw is almost tightened, adjust the orientation of the horn to suit your style, then finish tightening the screw with the screwdriver.
- The plastic mounting discs may bend slightly to conform to the curve of the headband; don’t tighten much past this point.
Notes:
- Our hook & loop Hellcrow discs can be added to our headbands to help keep it in place.
- You can add bobby pins to further secure the headband in place.
